Iphones in terms of an Android user
Have you ever wondered why an iPhone is like a very fancy club that keeps the doors locked?
An iPhone is like a birthday party where the person who owns the house decides exactly who gets to come inside. Everything is picked for you, from the games you play to the pictures you take, so you do not have to think about anything at all. You just walk through the front door, have a piece of cake, and follow the rules that the host made up before you even arrived. It is all very tidy, but you cannot bring your own toys or change the music if you get bored.
An Android user is more like someone who brings a bag of building blocks to the park. They can build a giant tower, paint the bricks bright blue, or take the whole thing apart to see how the pieces fit together. If they decide they want a different screen or a brand new way to talk to their friends, they just swap a part out and keep on playing. It is a bit messier, and sometimes things do not fit quite right, but they are the boss of their own box of tricks.
Using an iPhone is lovely if you like things to stay exactly where you put them on your shelf. You will never get lost because there is only one path, and it is paved with shiny glass and neat rows of little icons. It is like being given a colouring book where the lines are already drawn for you, while the Android user is busy drawing their own maps on the pavement with colourful chalk.
Where the analogy breaks downiPhones do allow for some basic customisation and settings changes, even if they are more restricted than Android.
